The Other Andy

Andy Goldsworthy, a Scottish artist who also works with nature. I like this collage of his work, because the colors, shapes and angles are so uplifting and inspiring for winter and the coming of spring in the distant horizon.

Muskegon Museum of Art

A couple of happenings at the local art museum in Muskegon.

The Muskegon Museum of Art Regional Art Show is kind of far away, in May, but if any of you are local artists- this provides a great venue to get your work out there. I, myself, should start focusing on a new piece for spring.

Lilly Collection

Why Lillies?
I guess, because I live around all these lakes here in Mid-West Michigan along the shoreline of Lake Michigan and it's in-lets, tributaries and such- cannot help but be influenced by the beauty floating on the surface of my surroundings

Most of these have sold, but I am enjoying this carving technique and so can easily make more if anyone is interested in me customizing one.

Current Projects...

I've started playing around with making barrettes and other accessories, as a nice gift for my wife, daughter and for sale in some local shops.
